Overview: Hill AFB is an Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) base located in northern Utah. Hill is home to many operational and support missions, with the Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC) serving as the host organization. The center provides worldwide engineering and logistics management for the F-16 Fighting Falcon, A-10 Thunderbolt II, and the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile.
The Opportunity:
An ample supply of natural gas in the region, coupled with transmission infrastructure makes two boiler plants in buildings 260 and 825 prime locations for a natural gas cogeneration plant to generate electricity and steam.
The waste-to-energy EUL parcel has several desirable characteristics for development including quantity of waste resources and a contiguous parcel close to transmission infrastructure.
