Welcome to the U.S. Air Force Office of Energy Assurance (OEA). The office was established in February 2016 by the Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Staff to serve as the single point of entry for all strategic energy and resiliency initiatives. OEA serves as the facilitator and integrator of energy assurance efforts and acts as "resilience advocates" by ensuring projects align with installation needs and with the three strategic goals of the Air Force Energy Flight Plan - improve resiliency, optimize demand, and assure supply. As such, OEA partners with defense and federal agencies, industry and communities to develop innovative, technology-neutral solutions that defend against cyber, natural and physical challenges.
As the Air Force Energy Storefront, OEA works to balance the objectives of an installation’s energy initiatives while optimizing cost and providing resilient energy solutions in support of the Air Force mission.
OEA operates as the Air Force Energy Storefront by:
OEA’s holistic strategy for energy management helps shape installation resilience across the country, and in turn, enhance the Air Force mission.

OEA is the central management office, or Storefront, for facilities energy and water assurance in the Air Force. The office focuses on Air Force mission requirements and applies data-driven analysis to derive installation energy and water to deliver project solutions that ensure an Air Force that is able to fly, fight and win in air, space and cyberspace.
The OEA StoryMap is an interactive web-based platform that shows OEA’s active engagements, current pilot initiatives and potential future energy resilience efforts. Explore energy projects in the Air Force – from requirement identification and conceptual design through the transition to project execution or solicitation.
