Bolling Air Force Base

Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) is responsible for implementation of BRAC actions at Bolling AFB. Realign Bolling AFB through the following actions:

1. Relocate all components of the Air Force Central Adjudication Facility (AFCAF) and the Defense Intelligence Agency Central Adjudication Facility from Bolling AFB to Fort Meade, MD. AFCAF is responsible for this movement in cooperation with AFDW. 

2. Relocate the Bolling AFB installation management functions to Naval District Washington at the Washington Navy Yard, DC, establishing Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC.  Navy is responsible for effecting this movement and coordinating with AFDW. 

3. Realign Crystal Park 5, a leased facility in Arlington, VA. Relocate the Defense Intelligence Agency analysis function to the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center, Bolling Air Force Base, DC. USD(I) is responsible for this movement in cooperation with AFDW. 

4. *Realign the Potomac Annex, DC. Realign Bolling Air Force Base, DC. Realign Skyline, leased space in Falls Church, VA. Collocate the Navy Bureau of Medicine, Office of the Surgeon General of the Air Force, the Air Force Medical Operations Agency, and the Air Force Medical Support Agency, Office of the Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs), Tricare Management Activity, Office of the Army Surgeon General and US Army Medical Command to a single, contiguous site that meets the current Department of Defense Anti-Terrorism Force Protection standards for new construction at either the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD, Bolling Air Force Base, DC, or federally owned or leased space in the National Capital Region and consolidate common support activity. Navy is responsible for this move in cooperation with AFDW for the Air Force Surgeon General portion. 

5. Relocate the transactional functions of the Civilian Personnel Office, Bolling AFB, to Randolph Air Force Base, TX. Consolidate the relocated civilian personnel offices with the Civilian Personnel Office at Randolph Air Force Base, TX. Retain sufficient positions and personnel to perform the personnel management advisory services, the non-transactional functions, necessary to support the Bolling Air Force Base, DC, civilian workforce. AFDW is responsible for the movement of personnel. 

6. Realign select Defense Intelligence Agency intelligence analysis functions from the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center, Bolling AFB, to a new facility at Rivanna Station, VA. USD(I) is responsible for this move.
