 Fort Smith Air Guard Station

The Air National Guard is responsible for Fort Smith Air Guard Station (AGS), AR. Realign Fort Smith AGS through the following actions:
 
1. Distribute the 15 F-16 aircraft assigned to the 188th Fighter Wing (ANG). F-16s to meet the Primary Aircraft Authorization (PAA) requirements established by the Base Closure and Realignment recommendations of the Secretary of Defense, as amended by the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission.

2. Establish 18 PAA A-10 aircraft at the 188th Fighter Wing (ANG), Fort Smith Air Guard Station, AR.

3. Move the Home Station Training Site from the 188th Fighter Wing to Savannah, GA.

4. Establish a contiguous enclave for the 188th Fighter Wing (ANG) sufficient to support operations of that unit, including flight operations, compatible with joint use of the Air Guard Station as a civilian airport. 

5. If the State of Arkansas decides to change the organization, composition, and location of the 188th Fighter Wing (ANG) to integrate the unit into the Total Force Integration, all personnel allotted to the 188th Fighter Wing (ANG), including the unit's Expeditionary Combat Support elements, will remain in place. Offer a mission that is relevant to the security interests of the State of Arkansas and consistent with the integration of the unit into the Total Force Integration, including but not limited to air mobility, C4ISR, Information Operations, engineering, flight training or unmanned aerial vehicles. Where appropriate, unit personnel will be trained in skills appropriate to the emerging mission.

Little Rock Air Force Base

Air Education and Training Command is responsible for Little Rock AFB, AR. Realign Little Rock through the following actions: 

1. Distribute C-130 aircraft assigned to Little Rock AFB to meet the Primary Aircraft Authorization requirements established by the Base Closure and Realignment recommendations of the Secretary of Defense, as amended by the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission. 

2. Realign base-level Logistics Readiness Squadron positions from Little Rock AFB to Scott AFB, IL to establish a Mobility Air Force Logistics Support Center.  AETC is responsible for effecting this movement.

3. Establish 9 PAA C-130 aircraft at the 189th Airlift Wing (ANG), Little Rock Air Force Base.
