VIRGINIA Affected BRAC 2005 Locations Langley Air Force Base Richmond International Airport Air Guard Station Alexandria/I-395 Annex/Crystal City/Rosslyn, VA Langley Air Force Base Air Combat Command (ACC) is responsible for Langley AFB, VA. Realign Langley through the following actions: 1. The 192nd Fighter Wing (FW) will associate with the 1FW in its F-22A mission and any additional missions as agreed upon by Air National Guard (ANG), ACC, 1FW and the Adjutant General of Virginia. 2. Receive 18 F-15C/D aircraft at Langley AFB from the 3d Wing, Elmendorf, AK. Pacific Air Forces is responsible for this move. 3. Relocate base-level F-100 engine intermediate maintenance from Langley AFB to Seymour Johnson AFB, NC, to establish an F-100 Engine Centralized Intermediate Repair Facility (CIRF). 4. * Establish a Combat Air Forces (CAF) Logistics Support Center (LSC) at Langley AFB. Receive Regional Supply Squadron (RSS) positions from Hickam AFB and Sembach, Germany (non-BRAC programmatic), and base-level Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) positions from Luke AFB . ACC is responsible for establishment of the CAF Logistics Support Center (LSC) at Langley. Movement of RSS positions is the responsibility of Pacific Air Forces and United States Air Forces in Europe. 5. Relocate base-level F-15 avionics intermediate maintenance from Langley AFB to Tyndall AFB, FL, to establish an F-15 Avionics CIRF. ACC is responsible for this move. 6. * Relocate installation management functions from Fort Eustis, VA, to Langley AFB. The Army is responsible for effecting this movement and coordinating with ACC. Distribute the 15 F-16 aircraft assigned to the 192d Fighter Wing (ANG), Richmond IAP AGS, VA, to meet the primary aircraft authorization requirements established by the Base Closure and Realignment recommendations of the Secretary of Defense, as amended by the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission. 2. Relocate the Secretary of the Air Force-Auditor General to Andrews AFB, MD. 5. Realign Rosslyn Plaza North (1777 N Kent St), a leased installation in Arlington, VA.
