Capital Airport Air Guard Station

The Air National Guard is responsible for Capital Air Guard Station (AGS). Realign Capital through the following actions:

1. Distribute the 15 F-16 aircraft assigned to the 183d Fighter Wing, Capital Airport AGS, IL, to meet the Primary Aircraft Authorization requirements established by the Base Closure and Realignment recommendations of the Secretary of Defense, as amended by the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission.

2. The Illinois ANG State Headquarters and the 217th Engineering Installation Squadron remain in place at Capital Airport Air Guard Station, IL.

3. Establish an F-110 Engine Centralized Iintermediate Repair Facility (CIRF) at Capital. Receive base-level F-110 intermediate maintenance from Dane County Regional AGS/Truax Field, WI; Joe Foss Field AGS, SD; Des Moines AGS, IA; Fort Wayne AGS, IN, and Lackland AFB, TX.

4. If the State of Illinois decides to change the organization, composition, and location of the 183d Fighter Wing (ANG) to integrate the unit into the Total Force Integration, all personnel allotted to the 183d Fighter Wing (ANG), including the wing ECS elements, will remain in place. Offer a mission that is relevant to the security interests of the State of Illinois and consistent with the integration of the unit into the Total Force Integration, including but not limited to the CIRF for F110 engines, air mobility, C4ISR, Information Operations, engineering, flight training or unmanned aerial vehicles. Where appropriate, unit personnel will be trained in skills appropriate to the emerging mission.

Greater Peoria Regional Airport

Establish 8 Primary Aircraft Authorization C-130 aircraft at the 182d Airlift Wing (ANG), Greater Peoria Airport, Air Guard Station.

Scott Air Force Base

Air Mobility Command is responsible for Scott AFB. Realign Scott through the following actions:

1. Disestablish the inpatient mission at Scott AFB, 375th Medical Group, and convert the hospital to a clinic with an ambulatory surgery center. AMC is responsible for this action in coordination with the Air Force Surgeon General.

2. Transfer the 126th Air Refueling Wing's KC-135E aircraft to the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC) at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, for appropriate disposal as economically unserviceable aircraft.

3. Establish 8 Primary Aircraft Authorization KC-135R/T at the 126th Air Refueling Wing (ANG), Scott AFB, IL. ANG is responsible for this movement.

4. Establish a Mobility Air Force Logistics Support Center at Scott AFB. Receive at Scott AFB Regional Supply Squadrons (RSS) from Hurlburt Field FL and Sembach Air Base Germany (Sembach personnel movements are non-BRAC programmatic) and Logistics Readiness Squadron positions from Little Rock AFB and Altus AFB. AMC is responsible for these moves.

5. Receive the Army Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) from Fort Eustis, VA, and consolidate it with the Air Force Air Mobility Command Headquarters and Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) Headquarters, Scott AFB. The Army is responsible for this movement in cooperation with AMC.

6. Receive the US Army SDDC from Hoffman 2, a leased installation in Alexandria, VA, to Scott Air Force Base and consolidate with the Air Force Air Mobility Command Headquarters and Transportation Command Headquarters. The Army is responsible for this movement.
